Lužany — Intensification and capacitation of wastewater treatment plants
In the village of Lužany we have completed an interesting realization, namely the intensification and capacitation of the existing biological wastewater treatment plant. The wastewater treatment plant will have a total capacity of 700 EO (equivalent inhabitants) from the original 540 EO and will serve for the treatment of municipal wastewater, brought from the municipality. The equipment is designed with minimal operating costs in mind, including electricity consumption and minimal operator demands.
Our work began with the elaboration of the implementation project documentation and continued directly in Lužany by dismantling the wiring of technological wiring, elements of field instrumentation and wiring, including switchboards.
The RMS switchboard, which we built in our switchboard production, was placed in the control room of the WWTP. All electrical equipment, MaR elements and building wiring are connected from this switchboard. The control cabinet houses the SCHNEIDER control system, which ensures automatic operation of the entire technology. A control touch panel for control and operation is located on the door of the RMS free-standing cabinet cabinet. Individual devices have local control boxes at the installation site for the possibility of manual control, which are also from our production.
Cabling design, new backbone routes were created from hot-dip galvanized steel wire gutters. Routes to the end elements were made using wiring pipes and cable guards. Separate routes have been created for power cables and MaR cables. All wiring came with copper cores.
During the construction modifications of the wastewater treatment plant building, it was found that the existing grounding system was not in a satisfactory condition. For this reason, a new grounding system had to be designed and implemented, which consists of a perimeter ground strip. An additional protective connection to this grounding system is made at the installation site. The connection is realized by a green-yellow CYA wire with a cross section of min. 6 mm! 2.
In the end, we handed the customer the operational technical documentation, the documentation of the actual design and the initial revision report, including the TIČR.
